Jacob Raymer is an internationally recognized speaker, addressing global audiences on the subjects of leadership roles and responsibilities, cultural transformation, and how to achieve organizational excellence and sustainable, long-term results via the right behaviors. As the Shingo Institute’s former Director of Education, Mr. Raymer co-created both the Shingo Model and the Institute’s foundational learning courses. In addition, he trained Shingo examiners and taught thousands of individuals worldwide how to assess and establish lean mindsets and methods. After spending over a decade with the Shingo Institute, Mr. Raymer joined Munson Healthcare, northern Michigan’s largest healthcare system, as its Chief Transformation Officer. At Munson, he created and deployed an organizational lean operating system and alignment framework anchored to guiding principles that are now integrated throughout the entire healthcare system. Prior to being named as Executive Director for the Shingo Institute, Mr. Raymer supported the Institute as a Faculty Fellow, continuing his work in creating learning frameworks to help organizations effectively leverage the Shingo Model. He is a lifetime member of the Shingo Academy.
