With over 25 years of experience, Jo Ann brings deep expertise in Lean enterprise transformations across a broad spectrum of industries—including manufacturing, defense electronics, automotive, and most recently, healthcare.

Her career reflects a passionate commitment to continuous improvement, with a focus on teaching and facilitating teams in both manufacturing and transactional environments. She has held leadership roles in hospital and ambulatory operations, finance and corporate auditing, human resources, compensation and payroll, sales effectiveness training, and even winery operations—demonstrating that Lean principles can drive meaningful change regardless of the industry or function.

Most recently, Jo Ann has been using these same tried-and-true Lean techniques to help transform the face of healthcare in the United States through her work with organizations like Alameda Healthcare System and Atrium Healthcare System.

She holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Northeastern University and a Master of Science in Administration from Boston University. She is also a Shingo examiner.

Her specialties include Lean manufacturing, strategy deployment, kaizen, Six Sigma, value stream transformation, training and curriculum development, and non-manufacturing kaizen.
