Joanne Deys is executive vice president of Strategic Partnering at Ozgene PTY LTD and president of Ozgene LLC. She has global and multi-industry experience in the Lean journey with tactical execution, as well as strategic design and development. Ms. Deys' experience as a Shingo lead examiner, along with her experiences in automotive, aerospace, electronics, industrial, BIO tech, and pharmaceutical, enable her to articulate Lean concepts and principles at all levels and in all areas of business.

Prior to her current positions, Ms. Deys was VP of Sales and Operations Planning and Supply Chain for Stanley Black and Decker. She also spent six years at Textron starting as a corporate Lean sensei. There she drove business and process improvements supporting Six Sigma and Lean transformation in multiple business units. Stepping into a business unit to design and implement materials excellence, she then became the VP of Integrated Supply Chain. She led the global team through a three-year journey of Lean discovery and change as an integrated organization while driving material and operational excellence. Before Textron, Ms. Deys worked for 20 years with Delphi, holding various leadership and managerial positions in Lean and continuous improvement, operations, production control and logistics, engineering, and HR.
