Biography

Matt Pollard is the VP of Clinical Programs at INTEGRIS Health. Previously, he was the VP of Continuous Improvement at Intermountain Health. He played an active role in the advancement of continuous improvement at Intermountain since 2013. He served as both a regional and system Continuous Improvement Medical Director and presented his physician engagement approach as well as the philosophy behind the Intermountain Operating Model to multiple organizations and at conferences across the country.

Dr. Pollard has experience engaging physicians and caregivers in continuous improvement problem solving methodology and facilitating physician-led improvement initiatives. He has trained dozens of healthcare providers in the use of continuous improvement to improve the delivery of healthcare and patient outcomes.

He earned his medical degree from Medical College of Wisconsin, where he also completed his residency in Emergency Medicine. During that time, he was the Chief Resident. He practices medicine in the Emergency Department at McKay-Dee Hospital where he has previously served as the Chief of Emergency Medicine. Dr. Pollard earned a Masters of Business Operational Excellence from The Ohio State University – Fisher College of Business and is a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt.
